SHIPPING & RETURNS

OUR SHIPPING POLICY

We want to get your Exarchy Holster Co. product to you as soon as possible. That’s why we make every effort to process your order quickly so you can put your holster to good use.

In general, if the product status is "In Stock" on the website, we will process your order, handcraft your custom holster and ship it within the specified lead time listed on this website. Click here to see current lead times. Occasionally, because of our high product standards we may experience delays in obtaining materials to complete your order. If this is the case, we will contact you after your order is placed with an updated shipping estimate. Some products have specific lead times which we post on the product pages, as well as the link above.

Orders are generally shipped via USPS Priority Mail and typically arrive in 3-5 days after shipment. A tracking number will be provided for your order and can be tracked via the USPS website. Valid in the contiguous United States only, excludes Alaska and Hawaii. You can also track order status and view invoices by logging into your Exarchy "My Account" and view "My Orders." "My Account" and "My Orders" only show tracking information when the order has shipped. Unfortunately, our web system does not allow us the ability to show production status of your order. Please call us to get an update on the production status of your order.


Reminder: All custom products will require additional processing time. Promotional shipping (i.e., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the contiguous United States (does not apply to HI or AK) and may pertain only to orders above a certain threshold (i.e., $19.99) or coupon code.

Exarchy™ Holster Co. is not responsible for uninsured package deliveries that are lost, stolen or damaged and we will not replace/remake or refund such items/packages. We recommend you select an insured delivery option at checkout. We will replace items that are sent via insured delivery methods that are lost, stolen or damaged that are tracked and marked as not being delivered or upon insurance approval for items that are damaged in transit by the carrier. We cannot replace lost or stolen items that have been "delivered" as any insurance claim for those items will be denied by the insurance provider. Incorrect shipping addresses (as given during checkout) where the package has been marked as "delivered" will not replaced at our expense. If you move and do not provide us with an updated address, you take full responsibility for delivery of your package. We will happily update your shipping address prior to shipping your package. Once your package has shipped, the address cannot be changed. If your package is returned to sender as undeliverable, we will contact you for updated shipping information. You are responsible for any additional shipping charges. If returning a package that is no longer wanted, marking a package as "return to sender" without a proper RMA number will result in a minimum of 50% of the order total being deducted from any refunded amount. Refunds will not be automatically processed in this circumstance. You must contact us and speak with us. If you have concerns for your packages being stolen by "porch pirates", we recommend that you call us prior to ordering and have Delivery Signature service added to your shipping service. We do not guarantee shipping times/delivery time-frames from our shipping providers, for obvious reasons, as these circumstances are beyond our control. 

Shipping Timeframe/Lead Time to Ship


All of our products are custom-made to order and have a lead time to produce. Selecting a different shipping method (i.e. USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, or Priority Mail Express) does not change the time to produce your order, it only changes the timeframe of the shipping service after your order has left our shop. Typically, the delivery timeframe is as follows (after the package has left our shop); 4-5 business days for USPS Ground Advantage, 2-3 business days for Priority Mail and 1-2 business days for Priority Mail Express.

Shipping Insurance

Insurance is now provided ($100.00 default) by USPS on all shipping services through USPS. If you need additional insurance (i.e. your order total is over $100.00), selecting Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express, will include insurance for the entire order total. If you need additional insurance for USPS Ground Advantage, please contact us prior to placing your order so we can get you the proper cost for insuring your entire order. Once the Post Office has taken possession of your package, Exarchy Holster Co. is no longer responsible for loss, damage, or theft. We can only facilitate an insurance claim on your behalf (as the shipper). In order for an insurance claim to be approved, the full value of your order has to be covered by insurance.

3rd Party Shipping Providers

We use third party/external shipping service providers to deliver your product(s).  We typically use USPS, but can ship via FedEx, UPS, and DHL. USPS First Class Package Service and Priority Mail are the defaults on our website. If you require other shipping services, please give us a call for a quote using the carrier of your choice. We recommend choosing Priority Mail so that your package is insured ($50.00 default insurance). If you require additional insurance, the Post Office rate is .95 cents per hundred dollars. We charge our costs for shipping and insurance, meaning shipping is not a profit center for our business. We will charge the rates we are charged for shipping services, including additional insurance. We are not Amazon, and we pay significantly higher shipping rates than companies shipping more in one day than we do all year. When we offer you free shipping, we pay the costs. Of course, if you like, you can subscribe to Exarchy Prime™ for $14.99 per month (billed annually) and we will ship all your orders for free. No, this isn't a thing, but if you mention this, we may give you a free shipping code just for fun.

International Shipments


We ship globally using FedEx, UPS, DHL, and USPS. USPS is not recommended due to logistical issues outside of the United States and extended delays in receiving your order. We will provide quotes for international shipping upon request. Please contact us, here and provide your full shipping address in the request. Disclaimers for international shipping: 1) We have a $9.95 surcharge for international shipments due to the time required to handle and process your order and prepare it for shipping. 2) The shipping cost varies depending on the size of your order and your location. There may also be customs fees, duty fees, taxes or shipping fees outside of Exarchy™ Holster Co. control. You (the receiver) are responsible to pay any additional charges prior to receiving your package in accordance with your country's laws and regulations. Exarchy™ Holster Co. will not falsify documentation to avoid these fees. We will declare the full value, in accordance with all laws and regulations. Exarchy™ Holster Co. is not responsible for paying these fees or taxes. 3) By placing this order, you certify that you can legally own and import any and all products ordered. 4) Exarchy™ Holster Co. is not responsible for seized packages, lost packages, or damaged products and items will not be replaced by Exarchy™ Holster Co.


Expedited Orders
 

***We are not currently taking any expedited orders*** We are shipping all orders as quickly as possible.
If you need your order sooner than the time-frame given above, we do have an option to speed up production on your order. You can choose to "Expedite Craftsmen" on your order. All orders with this status are charged an additional fee of $20.00 to be moved to the front of the line; those orders are given to the craftsmen to be handmade and leave our workshop within 72 hours. The order is shipped via USPS Priority 2-day mail for speedy delivery. Expediting custom or all leather items is not possible due to the nature of the manufacturing process. All items will ship within 48 hours, baring any unusual delays or holidays/weekend. If your order will be delayed, we will call/email you with updates.

Expedited orders placed Friday after 12:00 PM Mountain time through Sunday will be shipped on the following Tuesday at the latest. The expedite selection is available on all items. Please contact Customer Service by 
phone for more information regarding this option. Orders already in place can upgrade to expedite status at any time.

All "Delivery by" dates are estimates and not guaranteed. All services are provided by our shipping partners. Shipping services and rates are subject to change without prior notice. Expedited options may not be available in all areas.

​​RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Most Exarchy™ Holster Co. hybrid holsters and carriers have a limited LIFETIME warranty*.  (Excludes custom and all leather products, including all holsters made for weapons equipped with an aftermarket/third-party light or laser). We cannot accept returns or exchanges on holster/carrier products that have used or altered in any way. We are happy to exchange the item prior to shipping (i.e. if you add a light or laser to the gun and need to change the holster configuration). As always, the hybrid holster/carrier has a limited LIFETIME warranty to be free from manufacturer defect under normal use conditions** for the life of the product. If you ever experience an issue or failure with your  holster or carrier, please contact customer service by phone or send us a message.

Packages that are shipped to the
 wrong address as a result of an error on your order, that is not the fault of Exarchy Holster Co., will incur additional shipping charges to reship the package, if it is returned to Exarchy Holster Co. Packages that are marked as "delivered" by the carrier will not be replaced. Refused deliveries without a prior approved RMA, will be subject to a 50% restocking fee, plus shipping or other charges/fees incurred by Exarchy Holster Co. Refused deliveries must be unopened by the recipient. If your package has been opened (by anyone), the item cannot be marked "Return to Sender." If your item was refused in error, you must contact customer service to have your item reshipped, at your cost.

Please contact customer service if you are sending anything to us. All warranty returns must have a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number printed on the outside of the package in order to be processed correctly. Customer service will provide you a RMA number, which must be noted on the RMA form, found here. See Full Terms hereItems that have been delivered to you and then
returned (to Exarchy Holster Co.) without prior authorization (an RMA number) will not be processed and no credit will be given, regardless of the reason for return. We do not accept returns mailed to our address and we cannot process any returns sent to us without an RMA number, no exceptions.
 
*Exarchy™ Holster Co. reserves the right to repair or replace products covered under the limited LIFETIME warranty at the company's discretion. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We will then repair/replace the item and pay to ship it back. Custom products, including all leather holsters, weapons/guns/lights/lasers or other products not listed as part of our normal product offering are not returnable for a refund or credit. We back these products with the warranty stated here.

**Lost, stolen, or damaged products used for duty purposes are excluded from the limited LIFETIME warranty. Custom and all leather products have a 3 year warranty from the date of purchase and are subject to the full terms stated, here.

Order Cancellations

CancelOrder

Your order can be canceled anytime prior to shipping or within 10 days of order placement (whichever occurs first) by contacting customer service. After 10 days, orders cannot be cancelled, no exceptions. Once your order has shipped, the standard warranty and return policy applies. All canceled orders are subject to a minimum 10% cancellation fee (of the order total) prior to starting production; once production of your order has begun actual expenses will be deducted from the refund amount. Exarchy Holster Co. incurs non-refundable fees when you pay with a credit card or PayPal. These payment processors keep the fees, not us. In some circumstances, Exarchy Holster Co. may charge a service fee in connection to canceled orders that we have already invested significant effort into the production with either time or materials. Orders may be subject to actual expenses up to 100% of the order total or $30.00 per hour for time spent. You will be notified of any fees associated with your order (if above the minimum 10% fee) prior to processing any cancellation and subsequent refund. You will receive an email confirming that your order has been canceled. Please allow 7-10 business days for funds to be credited back to your account from your institution. Exarchy Holster Co. does not have any control over how fast funds are returned to you. In general, orders begin production within 72 hours of order placement, but please contact customer service with any questions. 100% of the order total will be given if you choose store credit to be used on a future purchase. Custom orders, including modification to any standard product, custom gun, light, or laser not listed on the website as a configuration we offer as part of our normal product listings are subject to a 50% or actual expenses incurred  (whichever is lower) cancellation fee. If your custom order had a non-refundable deposit associated, the deposit amount will be deducted from the refunded balance. Many times, we have already incurred expenses to pay for custom materials, molds, etc. in order to fill your order. Custom orders are the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the ordered configuration, materials, and any customizations required are accurate on the order details, prior to the purchase. Exarchy™ Holster Co. will not be responsible for items that are mis-ordered or ordered in error. We are happy to work with you to modify your order before production begins, if you realize you've made a mistake or want to make changes.
